Arrears fees – an important message for customers who transferred to us in June 2025

When your mortgage transferred to us from Capital Home Loans, we sent you our welcome letter, enclosed a copy of our Tariff of Mortgage Charges and explained that if your mortgage falls into arrears, we may charge you a monthly arrears administration fee. Although we didn’t charge this fee during the period immediately after the transfer, we’re now beginning to do so.

This means that if your account was in arrears by an amount equivalent to two full monthly payments at the end of March 2026, we’ll charge the Arrears fee of £40.

The fee will be charged monthly for as long as your account remains two monthly payments in arrears. However, if you have contacted us and agreed a temporary payment plan, we won’t charge the fee – provided you make the payments agreed under the plan.

If your account is in arrears, you can always call us – we’re here to help.

If you’re worried about your monthly payments, you can find more information in the Payment difficulties section of this website. There you’ll also find guidance on budgeting, support with the cost of living, and where to get free, confidential, and impartial advice.
